Michele Evangelista is the Senior IP Counsel at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Prior to this role at EBU, he was an associate legal counsel at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), focusing on international copyright and geographical indications policies. Earlier in his career, Michele worked with the External Action Service of the European Union and practised law in Italy. He completed a Master of Law in International and European Law at the Radboud University in the Netherlands and a master’s in Italian law at Federico II of Naples. In 2021, he concluded a Diploma in artificial intelligence and intellectual property at the Center for Intellectual Property Studies at the University of Strasbourg.
