Thomas Parry is the CEO and founder of SPHERICAL, a company building next-generation aerospace systems by leveraging in-house microchip design to dramatically enhance the capability, security, and resilience of satellite platforms. SPHERICAL has secured over €6 million in funding from leading venture capital firms and public institutions, including the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Space Agency (ESA). Its customers include ESA and some of the most forward-leaning new space companies, such as Orbital Paradigm and Dark.
Thomas began his career at Clyde Space, where he designed power and communication systems used by agencies like NASA and ESA, as well as startups such as Spire and Kepler Communications. He later transitioned into microchip design, playing a key role in the development of the world’s first all-digital sun sensor under an ESA-funded program.
