François is HealthTech IP Licensing Program Leader at Philips, where he leads a global team of IP professionals responsible to monetize Philips’ intellectual property assets within the scope of Philips businesses.
Since joining Philips in 2011, François had various IP roles in handling and managing IP matters of different Philips’ businesses. He has gained broad experience in all aspects of the IP spectrum, inducing IP asset creation, portfolio management, negotiation of IP agreement as well as IP transactional matters.
François holds a Bachelor of Science (biochemistry) and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Montreal (Canada) as well as a Master of Law in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Maastricht (Netherlands). He also qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2015.
