Andrew is a consulting senior advisor with the Medicines Patent Pool focusing on the “upstream access” workstream, where he works with universities, research institutions, governments, and other entities on access issues. He was previously an associate counsel on MPP’s legal team working on negotiations and drafting of the organization’s in and out licenses, and on various other contractual and governance-related matters. He is also a consulting senior counsel at the Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP), and has prior experience with both for profit and nonprofit organizations. He received his B.A. from Princeton University, his M.A. from Columbia University, and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. He lives in Washington D.C. with his wife and family.
