Rob Mayfield has been working with more than 100 technology startups over 20 years, mostly as a lead early stage investor, non exec director, VC fund manager, and in some cases as a CEO and/or founder. He has worked across a number of industries, including Energy, defense and Life Sciences, and has worked in a number of countries including in US, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe. Rob was the former TTO director at Leiden University and LUMC, currently works as the Managing Director of the Leiden University holding company investing in life science and health startups, Rob has an engineering degree from Edinburgh, and MBA from INSEAD and he gives regular workshops on negotiation at various levels.
