Managing Associate in Intellectual Property

Stephanie is a Managing Associate in the Intellectual Property team at Lewis Silkin LLP, based in London. Stephanie’s work concerns the protection, exploitation and enforcement of the full range of intellectual property rights; trade marks, patents, copyright, moral rights, design and confidential information and contractual disputes that involve IP. She advises clients on brand strategy and disputes at all stages of the litigation lifecycle on UK and cross-border disputes, from pre-action correspondence right through to trials in the UK’s Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. She also advises clients on brand strategy and trade mark filings, with experience of registry disputes at the UKIPO and EUIPO as well online enforcement via Nominet and UDRP/URS applications. Stephanie has great experience working with clients in the creative sectors, sports, advertising and marketing, media and entertainment and technology. She has a particular interest in the wearable technology sector and the impact and importance of IP rights in this industry.

Alongside IP, Stephanie has a passion for diversity in the workforce, and strives to ensure that Lewis Silkin has an inclusive culture that provides equality of opportunity. Stephanie is proud to lead the Gender Group of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Board and sit on the DE&I Executive Committee. She has  spoken at numerous external events on gender diversity and was involved in introducing the firm’s market leading equal parental leave policy entitling men and women to 6 months paid leave.
